My practice is based on my desire to connect with others and help them create better lives for themselves. The philosophy that guides my practice is that all people have the capacity for personal growth and healing.
It is common for people to want to better their lives, but they are unsure how to accomplish this endeavor. Oftentimes people try numerous strategies with varying degrees of success, but end up finding themselves feeling frustrated and alone.
I work collaboratively with people, helping them develop the courage and insight necessary to discover their own path to healing. I believe that, through this process, therapy tends to be a very positive and rewarding experience for my clients.
I have gained extensive experience by treating persons in numerous settings, such as the following:
20 plus years working In and Out-Patient Psychological Treatment Centers
Treating persons with various addictions; including drug, alcohol, food, and sex addictions
Teaching undergraduate and graduate college level courses
Working with adolescents in a wilderness therapy program
Helping couples and families reconnect
Facilitating many therapeutic groups and psychoeducational workshops

As a licensed psychologist, I am a qualified provider for many insurance carriers.
At the time of treatment, you are responsible for full payment until you reach your deductible, and you are responsible for your co-payment thereafter. Co-payments tend to vary between $20 and $40 per session.
I reserve a limited number of appointments for reduced-fee clients, and I will do my best to work out something or refer you to someone who can help you.
If you have insurance but would not like to use it, I can work with you to come up with a payment plan that works.
I typically see clients Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
