As your therapist, I am committed to creating an environment where you will feel understood and safe in order to assist you in addressing and exploring the challenging issues that have been keeping you from living the life you would prefer. We will work together to help you identify answers to your problems, build on your strengths, and develop the skills you need to prosper in your life.
Because of the uniqueness of people and the challenges they face, I will personalize my treatment for you. I will also work to find a healthy balance between challenge and support necessary in making the changes that will help you be happier and healthier.
My practice is based on my desire to connect with others and help them create better lives for themselves. The philosophy that guides my practice is that all people have the capacity for personal growth and healing.
It is common for people to want to better their lives, but they are unsure how to accomplish this endeavor. Oftentimes people try numerous strategies with varying degrees of success, but end up finding themselves feeling frustrated and alone.
I work collaboratively with people, helping them develop the courage and insight necessary to discover their own path to healing. I believe that, through this process, therapy tends to be a very positive and rewarding experience for my clients.
